Shrimp Cocktail Salad

My family say this is another keeper.  I also served at the office and they also thought it was 
wonderful.   My husband has decided that he likes this sauce for steamed shrimp better then the traditional cocktail sauce.  Yummy.

 

 

Take a large serving platter and line it with lettuce. then top with thinly sliced

cucumbers,red pepper, sweet onion and chopped fresh tomatoes.  The next layer is shrimp.

I go to Giant and ask for 1lb of 31-40 ct shrimp and have them steam them with no seasoning.

When I get them home I peel them and cut each into 3 pieces. You can use as many as you want . I usually eat some while I am preparing the salad. The last step is pouring the dressing that you made ahead over the salad.  I pour the dressing over the salad and then put the rest on the side for someone who wants more on theirs.

 

Horseradish Dressing

1 stalk of celery , finely chopped

3/4 cup sour cream
